Bianca Andreescu was born on June 16, 2000, in Mississauga, Canada, to her father Nicu and mother Maria Andreescu.

In 1994, Bianca’s parents emigrated from Romania to Canada when her father accepted a job in the country.

Nicu, Bianca’s father, works as a mechanical engineer at an automotive company, while her mother, Maria, had worked at a bank in Romania.
