Bianca Andreescu was born on June 16, 2000, in Mississauga, Canada, to her father Nicu and mother Maria Andreescu.

In 1994, Bianca’s parents emigrated from Romania to Canada when her father accepted a job in the country.

Nicu, Bianca’s father, works as a mechanical engineer at an automotive company, while her mother, Maria, had worked at a bank in Romania.

When Bianca was six years old, her family moved back to Romania so that her mother could start a business in their home country.
