Why Is Salvador Ramos Popular?
Ramos has become popular and has been in the news after reportedly shooting his grandmother and crashed his car before killing 19 students and two teachers at the Robb Elementary School massacre on Tuesday.
Salvador Ramos reportedly posted photos on social media of guns and ammunition before a gun rampage at Robb Elementary School.
Speaking to CNN, Texas State Senator Roland Gutierrez, made mention of Ramos’ threatening social media posts after stating that the suspect bought the weapons used in the mass shooting on his 18th birthday in the Uvalde area.
Ramos’ TikTok bio read: “Kids be scared irl [in real life].”
Following the shooting, the account, which displayed only one video of a mobile game, was taken down.
Both of Ramos’ alleged social media accounts on TikTok and Instagram featured the same photo and the line “TheBiggestOpp.”
Ramos is suspected of leaving his car outside the school and entering with a handgun and maybe a rifle. The killer wore body armor, according to the police.
“As soon as the suspect entered the school, he began killing students, teachers, and anyone else who stood in his way,” Christopher Olivarez of the Texas Department of Public Safety told local media.
Officers who arrived at the site shot and killed Ramos.
The 19 pupils and two adults killed are the most victims of an elementary school shooting since the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, which killed 20 students and six teachers.
