Why Did Ed Sheeran Call His Daughter Antarctica?
There are some dots that have been connected to come up with the reason why Ed Sheeran named his daughter Lyra Antarctica.
Speaking to The Independent, the singer said;
“Me and Cherry always wanted to go to Antarctica, it was always on our list,” he explained.
“It’s the one continent I haven’t gone to… So we went there, and it’s just an amazing place, it’s really special to us, and obviously like we got home and Cherry was pregnant. Yeah! It was just something we wanted to have in her name,” he added.
Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran is currently one year old, and will be two years in August 2022. She was born on August 2020.
Her birth was announced by her father on Instagram on September 1, 2020.
Meanwhile, on May 19, 2022, it was announced that the couple’s second child, a girl, was born.
