Known in the creative circles as Post Malone, Austin Richard Post, born on 4 July 1995, is a singer, songwriter, and rapper from America.
Post Malone got his name by inputting his names given at birth into a rap name generating application. He is famed for blending genres.
Post’s career in music took off in 2013 and came to the fore in 2015 with the release of his maiden single titled “White Iverson”.
He was awarded a recording contract with Republic Records, where he released his studio album “Stoney “in 2016.
One of the singles on the album, Congratulations, went diamond. Malone has sold over 80 million records and has won several awards like American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Award and Billboard Music Awards.
He has also received 6 Grammy Award nominations. His young career has not been short of controversies.

Post Malone in an interview with GQ Magazine admitted that facial tattoos are signs of some insecurity, stating;
” Maybe come from a place of insecurity, to where I don’t like how I look, so I’m going to put something cool on there, so I can look at myself and say, ‘You look cool, kid,’ and have a modicum of self-confidence, when it comes to my appearance”.
