Why Is Afia Schwar Walking Freely?–NDC Yayra Koku Questions IGP After Medikal’s Arrest

A Communication team member from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as well as an expert in Cybersecurity, Yayra Koku, has questioned the Ghana Police why female comedian Afia Schwar has been walking around freely while rapper Medikal was arrested.

In the early evening of Thursday, the well-known TV station Citi News broke the news of Medikal’s arrest.

According to reports, Medikal was arrested by the Ghana Police service for displaying a firearm. Medikal went to his Instagram stories to show off the gun he purchased in America.

Following being arrested by Medikal, users on social media have called for the arrest of comedian Afia Schwarzenegger as well for the exact same crime.

A number of users have shared the old video where Afia Schwarzenegger was seen carrying a gun inside her car. She was also heard issuing a threat to anyone who crossed her route.

Yayra Koku also took to his Facebook page and asked the Ghana Police why Afia Schwar continues to walk around freely, adding that the Police Service has not been fair to Medikal.

Taking to Facebook, Yayra Koku wrote;

“Ghana police service, Medikal has been arrested for brandishing weapon; Why is Afia Schwar walking free? Or she is above the law”
