Winger David Accam Opens Scoring Account In Hammarby Home Draw With Halmstad BK

Ghanaian forward David Accam netted his first goal of the season for Hammarby IF when they drew with Halmstad BK in the Swedish top-flight on Sunday.

Hammarby couldn’t hold on to their lead as they were held to a 1-1 stalemate in round 7 of the Allsvenskan at the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm.

Accam scored the opening goal of the fixture in the 72nd minute after connecting a pass from defender Mohanad Jeahze.

Halmstad drew level in the additional minutes through Marcus Antonsson who was set up by Ghanaian attacker Sadat Karim.

Accam, 30, has made 7 appearances in the Swedish Allsvenskan this term and has found the back of the net once.
