With Support The Black Stars Can Beat Any Opponent In Africa – Prof. Peter Twumasi

The Director General of Ghana’s National Sports Authority (NSA), Professor Peter Twumasi has said that the senior men’s national team, the Black Stars, has the quality to defeat any side on the African continent.

In the view of the sports administrator, Ghana will be a tough nut to crack for any national team from the continent if given the necessary support.

The NSA’s Director General was speaking in an interview with Akofa FM when he said, we have the best team which has a great future and he thinks with the kind of game Black Stars displayed here, it clearly shows that with maximum support, it will be very difficult for any nation on the African continent to beat them.

Professor Twumasi added that when we went to Qatar, the expectation was too high, we had wanted to take the cup which we could not do, and so most Ghanaians felt disappointed in the Black Stars.

The Black Stars were held to an away draw in Luanda in the second-leg of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The draw propelled the Black Stars to the top of the Group E standings of the qualifiers.
