Cristiano Ronaldo has broken his silence after Portugal was eliminated from Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup yesterday.
Portugal crumbled to a 1-0 loss to African nation Morocco who became the first African country to reach the semi-final of the World Cup.
The 37-year-old affirmed his commitment to the national team after he made his 196th appearance yesterday.
Ronaldo was pictured in tears as he left the pitch after seeing his dream of winning the World Cup come to an end in possibly his last World Cup. He would be 41 at the next World Cup.

Ronaldo further noted there were some untrue reports about him amid ongoing criticisms and fire from the media which heightened due to his interview with Piers Morgan and consequently his contract termination at Manchester United.
The 37-year-old made no mention of retirement plans from international duty despite widespread reports he could have played his last game for Portugal yesterday.
He also assured that when everything is settled everyone will draw their conclusions as he awaits his next move with offers from Al Nassr but is waiting to see if offers will come from European clubs.
