Xander Bogaerts Parents: Jan Bogaerts, Sandra Brown

Xander Jan Bogaerts was born on 1 October 1992 in San Nicolas, Aruba. He is an Aruban professional baseball player. He plays as a shortstop for the Boston Red Sox in Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Netherlands national baseball team.

Bogaert in his debut season in the MLB in 2013 made 30 appearances and helped the Red Sox to annex the World Series Championship.

Xander has won the American League Silver Slugger Award as a shortstop on four occasions. He also set the record for most games played as a shortstop for the Red Sox in 2022.
