Ghana Captain Andre Ayew was presented with special jerseys to commemorate his 100th appearance with Ghana’s Black Stars before their crucial 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier with South Africa.
The Sadd player is behind the legendary ex-Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan, who was capped 109 times over an impressive career that spanned more than two decades.
Ayew was a debutant with his club Black Stars in 2007, making his debut as an in-between substitute against Senegal under the then coach Claude Le Roy.
There have been 22 scoring goals for him, which includes his fantastic free-kick against Ethiopia this week during the final 2022 FIFA World Cup fixture.
