According to Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, it is not yet clear if Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey will feature in this weekend’s match against Everton.
Partey sustained a minor injury during the FA Cup fourth-round match against Manchester City last Friday.
He was forced off at half-time in the match his team went on to lose by a lone.
Arteta disclosed that Partey’s availability for the trip to Merseyside will be accessed after today’s training session.
When questioned about the midfielder’s inclusion in the match-day squad, the manager said there was still doubt. But said will be able to make the decision on that when the player comes to train with the team
He added that Partey has not been ruled out because the injury was not significant but yet significant enough for him to be taken out of the match against Manchester City.
The 29-year-old has been instrumental in Arsenal’s Premier League title charge, playing 16 games and has scored two goals.
