Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has stated that his plan for Nigeria’s restructuring is already completed.
Abubakar who is a former Vice President gave assurances that if he is elected, the country would be restructured within six months.
The assurances were made at the PDP Presidential Diaspora Campaign Grand Finale in Abuja on Friday.
Atiku Abubakar disclosed through his representative, former National Chairman Okwesilieze Nwodo that the necessary research work on the restructuring had been completed.
Okwesilieze Nwodo is the PDP Presidential Campaign Council’s (PCC) Deputy Director, Research and Strategy.
The former Vice President was insistent that Nigeria would be a better country when each region has its natural resources under its control.
He recounted a period when there was evident socio-economic development in the country when regions controlled their resources.
Atiku added that when it comes to restructuring by Executive Order, it will only take six months for the country to see a drastic change, because it has been worked out and he is only waiting to be sworn in on 29 May to roll out the plans.
