Celebrated Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. has revealed that the secret behind his constant trend in the news media is as a result of his patriotism.
Speaking during an interview on Nhyira FM, the self-acclaimed dancehall king explained that he is so patriotic to keep quiet when things go wrong in the country which oftentimes results in him going viral.
“I can say that I’m patriotic, apart from me being patriotic, and unfortunately the kind of job I do is in public so it makes it easier for people to speak about Shatta, so it’s just my job,” he revealed.
He also explained that people will begin to appreciate him once they get to understand his nature adding that his every move is planned.
“Many people don’t know themselves but I can tell you that, everything I do, is planned. So it will get to time people will understand me”
