Actress and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham has responded to critics of her support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The actress had earlier in January declared her support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu during an interview on Your View, a talk show because of what she believes he has done for the industry in which she works.
Since that public declaration, Abraham has been vilified, insulted, and trolled on social media.
In her response to her critics, in an interview with actress Kemi Afolabi on Instagram, she said those charging at her are wasting their precious time.
She said if anybody curses her or swears for her, it can’t affect her because she didn’t collect a dime, stressing that only those that took money that can be affected.
She went on to she didn’t collect money, and neither did she campaign for anyone, but they are having this discussion because this is her country, she is Nigerian, and she gave birth to my child here.
