Ghana Premier League club, Medeama SC, has announced that their assistant coach, Umar Rabi, has left the club.
This came after their BetPawa Premier League matchday 19 game against Real Tamale United (RTU) on Wednesday night in Tamale.
Umar Rabi was named as the assistant coach on the team sheet in the game that ended in a 1-1 draw.
The announced his departure in a statement released on its social media account.
The statement read Madeama would like to announce that coach Umar Rabi has left the club.
It went on to state that he has tendered in his resignation and the club will be making no further comments at the moment.
Umar Rabi replaced former head coach of the team Samuel Boadu who left during the 2022/21 season.
The Yellow and Mauves sit seventh on the league log with 28 points after 19 rounds of games.
Coach Rabi is yet to release a statement clarifying his departure from the club.
