Ghanaian teenager sensation Felix Afena Gyan has been able to recover from COVID-19. He is scheduled to join the AS Roma first team ahead of their Serie A match against Spezia.
The forward was unable to play against Bologna as well as Inter Milan after testing positive for the virus. However, the latest test shows the player is not infected.
In a tweet on Twitter, the player wrote that he is negative and is prepared to join his teammates in the game against Spezia on Monday, December 13, 2021.
Afena-Gyan’s return is an enormous positive for coach José Mourinho, who team is struggling to score goals.
“Negative at last! Looking forward to training with my teammates again!💛❤ #ASRoma” Afena wrote on Twitter.
