Ghanaian music artiste, Sista Afia has said that she is not solely dependent on music as her source of income and that she also operates in the catering industry.
The award-winning musician said it will b foolhardy of any artiste to be dependent on music as their only source of income.
She was speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM where she disclosed that her music career is supported by the earnings she gets from her business.
She says she does not depend on music because she does private catering, where they take orders for parties, weddings, and others, adding that she sometimes uses money from her private business to support her music.
Sista Afia revealed that she runs a kelewele business and is seeking to open a big space for continental dishes around East Legon.
She is on a media tour promoting her latest single “Carry Go” which is available on various streaming platforms.
