Former Ghana Football Association Vice President, George Afriyie has called on Ghanaians to remember rising star Mohammed Kudus in their prayers.
From his point of view, the youngster needs the support of the country behind to enable him to get better and attain his full potential in the future.
Speaking on 3Sports, Mr. Afriyie said he needs our prayers and support and even at a point where he fails us, let us continue to support him because he is riding on a typical Ghanaian history coming out with one or two players at a particular time.
He said having seen the likes of Abedi Pele, Michael Essien, Asamoah Gyan, and Sulley Muntari, he thinks that it’s gotten to the turn of Mohammed Kudus.
Mohammed Kudus is having his best season at Ajax in the ongoing 2022/23 football campaign.
He has been named in the 25-man squad for Ghana’s next assignment in the AFCON qualifiers.
