Chris Hughton Happy With Four Points From First Two Games In Charge As Black Stars Coach

Black Stars head coach, Chris Hughton has made remarks about the results chalked in his first two games in charge of the Black Stars.

The coach supervised his first official match as Ghana coach last Thursday and secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Angola in a Group E encounter of the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Coach Chris Hughton was again in the dugout as Ghana faced Angola in the second-leg encounter away in Luanda and led Ghana to a 1-1 draw against Angola in the reverse fixture.

The former Brighton & Hove Albion manager says he is delighted about the turnout, after picking four points from his first two games,

He said Angola is a very good side and we are very happy to have four points from the two games.

Hughton stressed that his team wanted to win the game and had to approach every game to win it sometimes you have a setback and the penalty was for us disappointing.

He added that the team reacted really well and this shows a team that has a good spirit and good quality to get results.
