Sensational Hiplife musician Black Sherif has urged his fans and Ghanaians to expect more of the ‘sermons’ as they are teasers to his upcoming ‘Extended Playlist’.
Black Sherif came into the Ghanaian music industry in June 2019 after going viral on social media with his ‘Cry For Me’ freestyle. He later recorded the actual song with the help of Ghanaian rapper Yaa Pono and put it in the music space.
He later in that year went viral again and begun gaining recognition in the eyes of the public and in the music industry after he dropped his second single titled ‘Money’ and followed by a remix version which featured rapper Tulenkey and AMG Armani.
He cemented his place in the Ghanaian music space with her third hit single titled ‘Destiny’ which was actually the continuation of his previous project ‘Money’ in that same year.
After a couple of months, Black Sherif, street name Blacko, kicked off 2021 with one of the most hit songs under the year titled ‘First Sermon’. The song received much attention from music lovers in Ghana and the diaspora because of the energy level he carried on the song.
Taking advantage of the publicity around him and the ‘First Sermon’ song, Black Sherif dropped an updated version of the song of which he titled ‘Second Sermon’ just about a week ago and the song is still trending as number one on YouTube catching 1 million views in just 5 days.
Answering a listener’s question on if he will drop another ‘sermon’ song in an interview with Andy Dosty o the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show on Hitz FM this morning, Black Sherif revealed he will drop more sermon songs until his ‘EP’ this ready.
He said he’s working on the EP and the sermon songs are just to create awareness of the things to expect from the EP.
