Highlife music legend Nana Kwame Ampadu has been confirmed dead at age 76.
The sad news was confirmed by Hitz 103.9 FM on their official Facebook page, sighted by Kingaziz.com.
The cause of his death is currently unknown. We will update this article or create a new one once we found out the caurse of his death.
Nana Ampadu is credited with numerous popular highlife tracks, and he is known to have composed over 800 songs. Ampadu’s “African Brothers Band” was formed in 1963. One of the founding members was Eddie Donkor.
He was born on March 31, 1945, in Adiemmra.
