Ghanaian popular social media user Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, also called Afia Schwarzenegger, has urged both Medikal and Shatta Wale to take advantage of their circumstances to begin an educational campaign that will educate their followers on the steps they need to follow in order to avoid getting caught by the law.
The two musicians were released on bail of GHc100,000 each and three other others who were detained together. Shatta Wale was arrested on Tuesday night, October 19, after a media act he staged in relation to a doom prediction that was attributed to a man of God known as Jesus Ahuofe.
He was detained along with his PR Nana Dope, and another member of his group called Gangee who were accused of spreading fake news via social networks. They were remanded in police custody for a week, arraigned before the court.
Medikal however was arrested on Thursday, October 21, after his image of him holding weapons via social networks in an infamous photo. He was also placed in the custody of police for five days.
The positive news is that the two musicians as well as the other three people arrested were granted bail through Accra Circuit Court.
In response, Afia Schwarzenegger, welcomed the two celebrities and advised the two to launch an effective campaign to inform their fans on the laws.
Taking to Instagram, Afia Schwarzenegger wrote;
“Welcome home sons @shattawalenima @amgmedikal .
Lessons learnt…going to turn this into positive campaign, educating n loving our fans.
Thank you Jesus.”
