Fit-Again Mubarak Wakaso Named In Ghana Squad For Ethiopia And South Africa Games

Mubarak Wakaso has been named in the squad of 28 players for the matches with Ethiopia as well as South Africa following his return to full fitness.

A knee injury kept the Chinese-based midfielder out of the double-header game against Zimbabwe in the month of March.

He is completely recovered and will take part in the crucial games with Ethiopia as well as South Africa this month.

Wakaso Since the time of his Black Stars debut call-up in 2012 has played regularly, playing 65 times as well as scoring twelve goals.

Ghana will face Ethiopia this month Thursday, 11th of November before playing South Africa on Sunday, November 14 at the Cape Coast Stadium.

The Black Stars are second in Group G, with 9 points. This is just one point less than the top team, South Africa, and Ghana must win both games in order to be eligible to play in the playoffs.
