FIFA To Release Verdict On South Africa’s Protest Against Ghana In World Cup Qualifiers Today

The World’s leading football body FIFA will announce today its decision regarding the protest lodged by the South Africa Football Association (SAFA) in relation to the 2022’s World Cup qualifier against Ghana.

SAFA submitted a formal complaint to FIFA last week, claiming that there was a game manipulation in the match, which they lost by one goal to Ghana in the Cape Coast Sports Stadium, which put them out of the running to play in the Qatar World Cup next year.

GFA has accused SAFA of defying the rules for protest following the game. GFA has urged FIFA to dispel the ridiculous assertions.

The GFA is also calling on FIFA to inflict a large fine on SAFA for creating a negative image for its World Cup brand and the image that the Black Stars into disrepute.
