Ghana Midfielder Thomas Partey To Miss Four Arsenal Matches During 2021 AFCON

Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey will miss four matches for Arsenal during the 2021’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament beginning in January of next year.

Partey, who is a key player for the Ghana national team, will be in Cameroon for the tournament. Ghana’s Black Stars battle it out against Morocco, Gabon and Comoros in Group C.

The tournament will take place between the 9th of January to February 6, which will see a variety of teams from the Premier League losing their players to national teams.

Thomas Partey won’t be able to participate in the initial two stages of the FA Cup – and they’ll also be absent for two matchdays worth of fixtures, should their country advance this far in the competition.

The Gunners will be without their key midfielder during the following games in January.
