Social media icon of controversy, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, popularly called Afia Schwarzenegger, has responded to the fighting that broke out in the Parliament between the members of parliament during a debate about the E-levy controversy.
As it happened in the 2020 elections, the members of the 8th parliament of the government were involved in physical fights during a debate about an E-levy that is controversial.
The fight took place between the minority who are against the passing of the E-levy and the majority who are in favour of the introduction of the E-levy bill.
In response to the sad and shameful action of parliamentarians yesterday, Afia Schwarzenegger stated that the lawmakers should be praised for their work in fighting for the common Ghanaians in the parliament.
She posted a sarcastic message on her Instagram handle attached to the video of the lawmakers fighting, saying that the members of parliament should be praised and commended for fighting for their rights because they are fighting for the benefit of Ghanaians, therefore, Ghanaians should be grateful.
