Wendy Shay has taken to social media and questioned why upcoming Nigerian artists can date top Ghanaian female celebrities, but Ghanaians can’t do the same.
This comes after Shatta Wale’s comment about Nigerians refusing to support Ghanaian artists like the way Ghanaians support them.
According to the Ghanaian Afropop and Afrobeats singer, she’s still waiting for the day an upcoming artist from Ghana will date a top female celebrity in Nigeria like the other way around.
However, Wendy Asiamah Addo, known by the stage name Wendy Shay, added that there’s nothing wrong with that though because love go where love is, but Ghanaians must wake up.
“I’m still waiting for the day an Up and Coming Artiste from Ghana will date a top Female celebrity from Nigeria like the way my naija brothers Dey do to some of our Gh female celebs ain’t nothing wrong with that love goes where love is abi ?..
Ghana wake up,” she tweeted.
