Taylor was selected by the team during the opening round of 1964’s NFL Draft.
With Taylor, the Redskins were in the playoffs five times (1971-1974 and 1976). He made it to the Super Bowl once (VII) after their 1972 campaign. Taylor was inducted into Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1984.
