William “Bo” Hopkins was an American actor who was born on February 2, 1942, in Greenville, South Carolina, United States.

He was perhaps best known for playing important supporting roles in a number of major studio films between 1969 and 1979, and appeared in many other television shows and TV movies.

Hopkins appeared in more than 100 film and television roles in a career of more than 40 years, including the major studio films The Wild Bunch in the year 1969, The Bridge at Remagen in the year 1969, The Getaway in the year 1972, and American Graffiti in the year 1973.
