Will Smith To Return To Screens After Chris Rock Slap With A Sequel To I Am Legend

American actor, rapper and film producer, Will Smith is said to be making a huge comeback to the screens with a sequel to I Am Legend while awaiting his ban from the academy to elapse.

This comes after Will Smith was handed a 10-year ban by the Academy over his shocking character at the 2022 edition of the Oscar Awards where he climbed on stage and slapped host, Chris Rock over a comment passed about his wife, Jada Pinkett.

The actor is reportedly self-producing a sequel to his post-apocalyptic movie, I Am Legend originally released in 2007. The sequel is said to be under production by Westbrook Media, Will’s production company and the actor will play the role of virologist Robert Neville just as he did in the original film.

A close source revealed to The Sun that: “The script is being written mentioning his character and as of yet, Will remains attached to the project.”
