Chadwick Boseman’s $2.3 Million Estate To Be Evenly Split Between His Widow Taylor Simone Ledward And His Parents Leroy And Carolyn

After the late actor’s untimely death in 2020, his widow and parents will each receive an equal share of his wealth.

After taxes, funeral, legal, and attorney costs were deducted, the Black Panther actor, who was 43 when he passed away, left behind a $2.3 million estate.

According to Black Enterprise, his widow Taylor Simone Ledward, 31, has requested that her husband’s wealth be divided equally between her and her in-laws, Leroy and Carolyn.

Simone Ledward, who handled the estate settlement is said to receive $1.15 million from the estate with an equivalent sum to the late husband’s parents.

According to reports, the actor did not have a will when he passed away, which meant that the family’s legal expenses were far more than they would have been if he had. Prior to the different fees, the estimated total value of Boseman’s estate was $3,881,758.

After being diagnosed with stage three colon cancer in 2016, which eventually advanced to stage four, Chadwick fought a quiet four-year struggle until passing away on August 28, 2020. Prior to his death, the Oscar nominee and Simone got married in secret ceremony. Although they had been dating since 2016, the actor’s family didn’t publicly acknowledge their marriage until after his loss.
