John Peers Parents: Elizabeth Little, Bill Peers

John William Peers was born on 25 July 1988 in Melbourne, Australia.

He is an Australian professional tennis player. He is a doubles specialist.

Peers’ first Grand Slam title came at the 2017 Australian Open where he partnered with Henri Kontinen. In the mixed doubles, he is a three-time Grand Slam semifinalist.

Peers, who is a member of the Australian Davis Cup team has won 26 titles in the doubles on the ATP Tour. He won a bronze medal in the mixed doubles at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics alongside Ashleigh Barty.

Peers played collegiate tennis for the Middle Tennessee State University Blue Raiders before transferring from the school to play for Baylor University Bears.

John turned professional in 2013 and is currently being coached by Chris Eaton.
