Britney Spears Will Not Sit for Deposition, Judge Rules

The judge on the conservatorship case between Britney Spears and her father Jamie Spear ruled on Wednesday that Jamie Spears’ attorney would not question Britney Spears in a deposition.

The judge ruled that Jamie Spears can get all the information he needs from other sources, including records and, presumably, additional witnesses, in order to refute claims of abuse of the conservatorship.

Without the ability to subpoena his daughter, Jamie’s attorney claimed, his client would be unable to defend himself against the multiple allegations brought by Britney and her attorney. According to Jamie’s attorney, his client will be made whole and did nothing wrong.

Britney’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart had argued in court that Britney would have to suffer the trauma of being put under an oath after suffering a decade of trauma under the care of her father during her conservatorship.

Jamie had filed for Britney to sit for a depo adding that she intended to tanish his images..
