Im Sung-Jae was born on 30 March 1998 in Cheongju, South Korea. He is a South Korean professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour.
Im is a two-time winner of the web.com Tour and a Player of the Year awardee in 2018 on the same Tour.
Im won his first PGA Tour tournament at The Honda Classic in March 2020, two years after he was named Rookie of the Year for the 2018-2019 PGA Tour.
Im, who turned professional in 2015, played on the International team in the 2019 Presidents cup which was held at Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Australia. The tournament was won by the United States team.
On his 100th start, Im won his second PGA Tour title at the Shriners Children’s Open at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada on 10 October 2021.
