Danielle Ruhl of “Love Is Blind” fame has filed for divorce from her husband, Nick Thompson, ending their year-long union just a few weeks after opening up about their desire to start a family. According to reports, Danielle filed for divorce on Monday in Illinois’ Cook County Circuit Court.
Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson were one of the two couples who got hitched at the end of season 2 by saying “I Do”. The second couple, Iyanna and Jarrette also revealed a few days ago that they were going their separate ways
In an interview with Us Weekly last month, Danielle revealed her and Nick’s plans to relive their special day, saying she missed out on a bachelorette party but hoped to throw a big bash when the time came. She hinted that they (herself and Nick) were planning to grow their family.
Sadly, fans who were expecting the couple to bring forth will watch as their hopes die with the divorce.
