James Norton Undergoing Therapy For ‘Grim’ School Bullying After 20 Years

James Norton is going for therapy for some bullying incidents he experienced 20 years ago while in school.

The 37-year-old actor revealed that he decided to seek help after realizing recently that those incidents in his past were having a toll on his current life.

“I had quite a grim time. It’s only now, in my later life as an adult, that I’m recognizing that effect and what it has done to me. With the help of a therapist untying some of that stuff which really wasn’t pleasant, in a weird, perverse way I’m kind of grateful for it,” he told the Daily Mail’s Eden Confidential.

“It’s definitely formed a part of me and allowed me maybe to access characters and people that I’m playing in a certain way and certain empathy,” he added.

James has been rumored to play the role of James Bond, to which he revealed he was flattered to even be considered.

“Crazy… It’s bizarre and quite flattering to be even considered in that world, but beyond that? Pure speculation.”
