The Ashante Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi has promised to give anyone who finds Afia Schwar a sum of GH5,000.
A few days ago, a Tema High Court sentenced controversial comedian Afia Schwar to a 10-day jail and a GHc60,000 fine for defamation.
After the bench warrant was issued, Afia Schwar has not been found to serve her jail term. Some Ghanaians are of the opinion that the comedian has gone into hiding while others also say she is still not back from Turkey.
However, Chairman Wontumi is calling on the general public to help the security forces locate Afia Schwarzenegger for arrest after a Tema high court declared her wanted.
The private legal practitioner, Lawyer for Chairman Wontumi, Maurice Ampaw in an interview on Movement TV, has declared Afia Schwarzenegger “Ghana’s most wanted” and has warned anyone harboring Afia Schwar to desist from doing so, thus they fall into trouble with the law.
