The Black Galaxies management committee chairman, Frederick Acheampong, has said that the team is determined to with the 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
The team kicked off its challenge for the CHAN trophy with a 2-1 defeat at the hands of debutants Madagascar on Sunday.
Ghana is looking to register its first victory at the competition when it takes on Sudan on Thursday for their second group match at the Mohamed Hamlaoui stadium.
In an interview with Graphic Sports, Mr. Acheampong who is also a member of the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council revealed that the Black Galaxies are highly motivated and would be adequately rewarded if they deliver to expectations.
He stressed that the morale in the camp is very high and that the playing body is in high spirits to defend the flag of Ghana.
Frederick Acheampong added that he has no doubt that the players would make the nation proud because of the excitement and readiness he has seen in camp.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 19:00GMT.
