Black Stars captain, Andre Dede Ayew was in action for his club side Al-Sadd SC on Monday evening as the club came up against Al Arabi in the Qatar Stars League.
The Ghana international forward started on the wings for Al-Sadd SC in a Round 11 encounter of the 2022/23 Qatari top-flight league.
Andre Ayew caused a lot of problems and was a constant menace to the defense of Al Arabi throughout his stay on the pitch while operating from the right wings.
In a game that did not register any goal in the first half, Santi Carzola opened the scoring in the 66th minute from 12 yards to give Al-Sadd SC the lead.
Six minutes on, Haasan Al Haydos also struck with a fine finish to double the advantage for the visitors.
At the end of the contest, Al Sadd SC picked the maximum three points to go 5th on the Qatar Stars League log.
The Black Stars captain played the entire duration of the game against Al Arabi.
Ayew has so far made nine appearances and scored three goals and assisted one this season.
