Ghana Captain Andre Ayew Gives Special Mention To Barcelona Legend Xavi In Farewell Message After Leaving Al Sadd

Black Stars captain Andre Dede Ayew has released a farewell message to his former side, Al Sadd SC, and its fans after the two parties mutually terminated their contract.

Al Sadd SC on 29 January release an official statement that it has reached an agreement to mutually terminate the contract it has with the Ghana captain.

In a message confirming the club’s statement, Andre Ayew expressed appreciation to Barcelona legend and coach Xavi Hernandez for reposing confidence in him by signing him while he was at the club.

Andre Ayew’s statement thanked Al Sadd FC, its coaches, and its fans for believing in him, with a special mention to Xavi who brought him to the club. He reserved a lot of thanks to the amazing fans for their massive support of him while he was with the club.

The statement added that it was a great and humbling experience for him to have served at a great club like AL Sadd. It said the forward counts himself as a fortune for being a part of the club’s rich history and especially the trophies won.

There are reports that Andre Ayew will return to his former said Olympique Marseille upon his exit from Al Sadd.
