Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac is ready to prove his doubters wrong at the 2021 African Cup of nations tournament in Cameroon.
Many see the Black Stars as underdogs in the tournament due to their abysmal performance before heading to the tournament.
However, Milovan Rajevac is believed his team will go far in the tournament, as they are ready to prove doubters wrong.
“Nobody believes us. Nobody rates us as favorites for this tournament, but we are here to prove them wrong. It’s good for us,” he said while speaking to the media at the pre-match conference.
The Black Stars are seeking to end their 40 years AFCON drought by winning their 5th trophy, after winning their last trophy in 1982 in Libya.
Ghana will play their opener game against Morocco today, Monday, January 10, at 4PM before playing Gabon and Comoros respectively in the group stage.
