#AFCON2021: Jordan Ayew Now Fully Fit To Start Ghana’s First Game Against Morocco

Jordan Ayew has passed to start Ghana’s opening AFCON match against morocco on Monday, January 10, 2022, at 4PM.

The Ghana forward trained with the Black Stars yesterday, January 6, in Doha, Qatar, ahead of the tournament.

Jordan Ayew suffered an injury in the Crystal Palace defeat to West Ham United on New Year’s Day, Saturday, January 1, leaving his AFCON participation in doubt.

The Ghanaian professional footballer selected as Man of the match, but wasn’t happy as he was in tears after what seems like a hamstring injury.

The Crystal Palace forward was in discomfort after the match, although he played the entire game.

Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira in relation to the 30-year-old attacker’s injury said that he hasn’t spoken to the doctor yet, so he doesn’t know his fitness level.

I don’t know, I haven’t spoken to the doctor yet,” he said.

However, the good news is that, the 30-year-old forward is now fully fit to start Ghana’s first game.

Jordan Ayew has 4 AFCON goals for the Black Stars so far.

The 2021 African cup of nations will be held in Cameroon, as the host nation will be opening the game against Burkina Faso on January 9, 2022, at 4PM.

Ghana will play their first AFCON match against Morocco on Monday, January 10, at 4PM before playing Gabon and Comoros respectively in the group stage.
