American Rapper And Father Of 15 DMX Reportedly Dies At Age 50

Earl Simmons, known by his stage name DMX, is an American rapper and songwriter. He began rapping in the early 1990s and released his debut album It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot in 1998, to both critical acclaim and commercial success, selling 251,000 copies within its first week of release.

You would recall that Pinaxonline.com earlier reported that DMX was in a critical condition after suffering a drug overdose. According to reports, DMX was rushed to a hospital in New York on Friday, April 2, with some sources claiming the drug overdose triggered a heart attack.

TMZ also disclosed that DMX has been taken to the critical care unit of a White Plains hospital where he is showing ”some brain activity”. Other sources which contacted TMZ disclosed that the rapper is in a ”vegetative state” and doctors boldly saying he might not make it.

Well, the latest information reaching our outfit indicates the father of 15 is no longer part of the living. According to his family, DMX died on Friday, April 9th whiles he was at the White Plains Hospital in White Plains, New York.

This is what a spokesperson had to say; ”He loved his family with all his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him. We appreciate all of the love and support during this incredibly difficult time. Please respect our privacy as we grieve the loss of our brother, father, uncle and the man the world knew as DMX.”
