Ghana captain Andre Ayew has backed his deputy at the national team Thomas Partey to come good for Arsenal in the English Premier League next season.
Thomas Partey joined Arsenal from Atletico Madrid on deadline day in last summer’s transfer window but he is yet to hit his strides at the London club.
The 27-year-old has struggled with injuries and consistency, however, he has showed glimpses of quality in games against Manchester United and Chelsea this season.
Swansea City star Andre Ayew is confident the Gunners will see the best of his compatriot next season when he is injury-free and fully fit.
“I think Thomas… they’re going to see a lot from him very soon,” Ayew told the Athletic.
“As soon as he’s going to get free with his injuries and get to his full speed, he’s going to be massive.”
Andre Ayew could be making a return to the English Premier League if Swansea win the promotion play-offs.
They are a foot into the finals after Andre Ayew’s stunner gave them a first leg semifinal advantage against Barnsley.
