Born on June 9, 1975, in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Andrew Symonds was an Australian international cricketer, who played all three formats as a batting all-rounder.
Symonds was an integral part in two World Cup winning squads. Symonds was a right-handed middle order batsman. He alternated between medium space and off-spin bowling.
He was also renowned for his outstanding fielding abilities.
After mid-2008, Symonds had a lengthy absence off the team because of disciplinary motives, which included alcohol. In June 2009, Symonds was expelled at the end of his participation in the 2009 World Twenty20, his third suspension, expulsion, or exclusion from the selection in the space of one year.

Andrew Symonds Death Photos
Symonds passed away in a single-vehicle car crash in Townsville, Queensland, on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the age of 46.
Queensland Police said in a statement that Symonds was driving on Hervey Range Road near the Alice River Bridge when his car left the road and rolled at around 10:30 pm local time.
Symonds was the only occupant of the car. Paramedics responded and attempted to revive him, but Symonds was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Emergency services attempted to revive the 46-year-old driver and sole occupant, however, he died of his injuries.”
