Ghana’s opponents Angola will fly directly to Kumasi on Tuesday,21 March 2023, ahead of their clash with the Black Stars in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
The Black Stars will play host to the Palancras Negras on 23 March at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi before going for the return leg in Luanda on 27 March.
The Palancras Negra has been in camp in Algeria to acclimatize and will fly in directly to Kumasi for their clash with the Black Stars on Thursday afternoon.
According to the communications director of the GFA, Henry Asante Twum, Angola will fly directly from their camp based in Algeria to Kumasi airport on Tuesday, 21 March.
The Black Stars return to the Baba Yara stadium which is regarded by many as a fortress, barely a year after the 2022 World Cup play-off against Nigeria, where Ghana evicted the Super Eagles on an away goal rule.
Ghana and Angola both lead their group with four points apiece going to these crucial rounds of matches and will both seek to top their group at the end of the two-legged hostilities.
