Despite missing their wedding ceremony, Ben Affleck’s brother, Casey Affleck has welcomed Jennifer Lopez to the family with a sweet message.
The pair, who initially became engaged about 20 years ago, officially wed in Las Vegas earlier this year and celebrated their nuptials this past weekend at Ben’s estate in Georgia.
Due to ‘parental obligations at home,’ Casey, who is close to his brother and fellow actor Ben, was reportedly unable to make it to the wedding. However, he has shown his approval of his brother’s marriage and subsequently welcomed Jennifer to the family.
He shared an old paparazzi photo of the trio on Instagram, suggesting that he is ecstatic about the marriage with the caption, “Good things are worth waiting for. Here is to twists and turns, new beginnings, and finding new reservoirs of old love. Welcome to the family. Get ready for more real dysfunction! Kidding. I am kidding. Jen you are a gem.
