Black Galaxies Midfielder David Abagna Joining Sudanese Outfit Al Hilal

Black Galaxies midfielder, David Abagna is on the verge of signing for Sudanese outfit Al Hilal after what is described as an impressive performance with the team at the 2022 CHAN tournament in Algeria.

Abagna who is the captain of Ghana Premier League side, Real Tamale United, left the Black Galaxies camp in Algeria for Sudan on Sunday 29 January.

The Black Galaxies forward caught the eye of many clubs both on and outside the continent, as he acquitted himself as one of the best players in the squad.

The 24-year-old put in a stellar performance in Ghana’s second group game against Sudan, in which he helped the team come from behind to beat the Sudanese by a 3-1 scoreline.

David Abagna was adjudged the Man of the Match by the close of play for his immense performance.

Abagna is expected to continue contract talks with Al Hilal officials on Monday, after leaving Algeria on Sunday.

It is expected that if the contract talks go well, David Abagna will be announced as an Al Hilal player by Tuesday.
