Black Stars Coach Milovan Rajevac ‘Congratulates’ Players After Ethiopia Draw

Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac unexpectedly praised his players following the 1-1 draw against Ethiopia during World Cup qualifiers on Thursday.

Ghana lost two points when it surrendered a half-time lead to win the game in the crucial game played at the Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.

Black Stars went ahead 22 minutes into their match against Ethiopia following a goal from former Swansea as well as West Ham United forward Andre Ayew.

Ethiopia did very well, however, they scored shots to try and score the equalizer, and it eventually came through Getaneh Kebede in the 72nd minute.

The draw, along with South Africa’s 1-0 victory against Zimbabwe that day, implies winning in the final game for Ghana in their final game is a non-negotiable.
